I'm a 20 year old college student. I'm actually taking a gap year this Fall though. The plan is to head to Washington State for a Ministry program where I can figure out more about who I am in Christ and how He can use me. Oh, yes. I am a Christian. Hope that doesn't bother anyone! My interests are pretty varied. I enjoy shows that are light hearted such as some Anime, and then also like the vulgar, gory shows like Game of Thrones. Besides being a couch potato on most days, I'm a fan of camping, and hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really just interested in providing a place for people to stay while they're on this never ending journey called life. Also, it would be cool to hear peoples stories and just meeting new individuals in general sounds really enticing. I must admit I live with my parents, but our house has extra rooms with beds and bathroom. They love meeting people also.

Interests

I enjoy playing acoustic guitar and singing. Fishing is also pretty high up on the list. There's a lake in my backyard that's home to large mouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. I recently started getting into cooking and also baking. Camping and hiking are also very fun. Although, while I love the outdoors, I also really enjoy playing videos games when I get the chance. Mass effect is literally the best game trilogy I've ever played, lol.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a die hard fan of Mumford and Sons. Not so much their newer sound though. Apart from that, I really like most other bands and genre of music. Country has recently grown on me, where as rap has not yet, lol. But I haven't dismissed it entirely yet!

The Lord of the Rings trilogy (not that Hobbit bull crap) are by far my favorite movies to watch.

I haven't really gotten into reading that much (Yes, it saddens me too.) I'm open for any recommendations though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was fifteen I auditioned for American Idol. Didn't make it past the first round, but it was a fun experience for sure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The house my family owns has extra rooms with beds and a bathroom connecting to that room. Besides that, we have a 2 acre farm with horses.(two mini horses// a regular size one.) Also we have a 7 acre lake behind our house, which is shared by the surrounding houses. A canoe and paddleboat are in good working condition, and if you know how to swim you're more than welcome to use them. I think we have a few good fishing poles as well if you enjoy the relaxing, yet exciting hobby.
