About Me
What’s up? How have you been? I can’t wait to share a chat with you about your culture, city, background, and travel stories.
For myself, I’m just a 24 year old Canadian trying to travel as far and long as possible to meet as many interesting people as I can. So far that has been pretty successful. I’m beyond grateful to have come across Couchsurfing during my travels in New Zealand as it has opened me up to some of the most enriching experiences. I hope you can be a part of my journey as well :)
I’m currently on a gap year after getting an undergraduate degree in civil engineering. Although one of my hosts said that I might have a hard time in that field as I’m “too personable”. Knowing engineers are usually a bit reserved, that gave me a good chuckle. I have a curious mind and will most likely ask too many questions about any subject you explain to me. The world is too interesting to be ignorant.
I’m super laid back as well, give me a floor and a blanket and I’ll be beyond grateful. The only stipulation I have is being vegetarian!
So that’s it, that’s me in short form. I can’t wait to get to know you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing brings a more unique experience while travelling. It truly embodies human kindness and curiosity. I have met some incredible people during my travels on Couchsurfing and cant wait to be able to return the favour once I go back home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all types of music, but being from the prairies in Canada I listen to quite a bit of country music. However I love listening to music my hosts like! I enjoy sports movies/documentaries and thrillers/action movies. I don't usually read too much but I do love journaling my new learnings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode over 2000km self supported on a bicycle through New Zealand. Those were some of the most tough and peaceful days at the same time. I hope to bikepack more countries later in life!
Teach, Learn, Share
As I progress in my travels I am starting to get more interested in the history of nations, cities, and cultures and how that shapes progress moving forward today. I am fairly educated in Canadian history and mountain adventures that I would love to share stories about. Overall I just love getting to know places in the least touristy way, making my journeys more educational and authentic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, cleanliness, and potentially some good cooking :) I will always engage in deep conversations and leave your space cleaner than when I came! Any house rules you have will be fully respected throughout my stay!
