ABOUT ME

I moved to Berkeley in July 2013 after a prolonged engagement while I lived in San Jose. I've lived in California, Austin, Oklahoma, and Kansas and made some great friends along the way.

In my life I've had a few experiences that have really stand out as fantastic memories in no particular order:
- Discovering the rush of catching a wave and surfing it in. It's taken me off the coast of Cali and all the way to Costa Rica
- Connecting completely with a crowd of strangers in a surging dance party in one of the best music festivals: Austin City Limits
- Biking with 1400 people in one giant mass of bike awareness, music, and fun.
- Travelling to Europe without a working phone and not knowing the language but still being surprised to be greeted by a loved one
- Fighting the urge to quit until the very last step of a long hike to the the summit in Yosemite
- Cliff jumping off an abandoned reservoir in private land in TX

PHILOSOPHY

A life worth living is one worth exploring. I am trying to find new adventures all the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just started! Many friends have suggested this to me by the amazing community of people they've met. I'd like to travel to South America so I better start now building up the travel buddies!

Interests

My weekends usually involve cycling, camping, surfing, sailing, or sight seeing. I prefer to be out of the house to explore the city or just the local neighborhood.
