With a passion for traveling and a strong habit for wandering, I found myself in the Couchsurfing network. I'm a fairly recent graduate from OSU (the one in Ohio) with a degree in Russian, and another in Intl. Studies - specializing in East European and Slavic Studies. It might sound fancier than it actually is. And although I had a blast learning about Russia, and the rest of Central and Eastern Europe, I am currently working in an unrelated field. For the past year I have been employed with American Airlines as a Flight Attendant. This job has offered me so many great opportunities to see the world, I am hoping to take advantage of more spontaneous adventures by meeting people through Couchsurfing and experiencing even more of the US and beyond!

Several of my friends have used Couchsurfing to see different cities, and all of them have had incredible experiences. The people closest to me, know that this way of traveling and connecting with new people would interest me. Not only that, but I am fiercely proud of my own city, and would love to help others fall in love with the town I call home. So finally I've decided to give it a try.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all sorts of music, but to name a handful of my favorite bands the first that come to mind are Mewithoutyou, The Shins, and Stromae.

Russian Lit is in my opinion, the best in the world.
If you have read Crime and Punishment, Doctor Zhivago, Anna Karenina or any other of the greats you could get me talking for hours.
But that being said, I love Steinbeck and still Moby Dick may be one of my favorite novels. Also I've been on a Murakami kick this past month. Any of his novels are worth talking about.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Recently I was in Finland, and had a chance to go snowboarding in the Arctic Circle.. I'm sure there's much more "amazing" things to do out in the world though.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

As a language nerd, I'm always happy to help people better their knowledge of foreign languages. Although I'd only consider myself conversational in about 4 languages, I've dabbled in about 7 all together and would love to help others pick up some basics!

Beyond that, I am a blank canvas. If any guest or host would want to teach me, anything really, I'd be an eager student.
