About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life with no regrets and with as much purpose as I can
ABOUT ME
I am a 22 year old American who's personal motto is "Live Free or Die". I like to take risks and to push the envelope. I try as best as I can to live my life without fear. I want to see as much of the world as I can in my lifetime, and not just as a tourist. My passion is for discussion and learning; I love to hear what other people have to say about anything that they want to talk to me about, although I have a particular interest in "citizen diplomacy" between individuals. I want to know what others think of the world and why they think that way. I am told that my laugh is one of the best that people have ever heard and I am proud of that fact. I relax with music and sports; I love to sing loud when I am happy and louder when I am sad; I am only happy when I feel like I am moving foward, be that professionally, spiritually, or culturally.
I also have a fun side too though. I am always up for doing "crazy" things, whatever that may be at the moment. I consider that trully living. I push myself to test the limits whenever I can.
PHILOSOPHY
"Live Free or Die"
and:
"Everything I need to know about life I learned from James Bond"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent a day in Tornio with a couchsufer named Fernando, and I really have to say that I had a wonderful time. He and his roomates took me in for the day and made me feel right at home like we had known one another for years. They fed me lunch, which I did not expect, and allowed me to use their internet so that I could keep my journey moving along. I can't thank them enough, and I hope that some day soon I will be able to do the same for someone else.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Illiad and The Odyssey. Anything philosophy.
Classical music is my favorite "type" of music. I also love to sing all the usual stuff that you hear on the radio; I have a scary obsession with christmas music too.
My absolute favorite movie is "The Last Samurai"; I'm also a James Bond nut.
I will read anything that you put in front of me; especially if I don't like what it is saying.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was at Pope John Paul II's funeral. The most powerful experience of my life, and I am not catholic. To be surrounded by so many people showing such love for a human being, and sharing that love with everyone around them; it was special. It is hard to describe how incredible it was.
