A Persian intellectual in semi-exile, adventuring around, working hard, working out harder, and enjoying life!

I like people who can hold an intelligent conversation, but don't take themselves too seriously.

I hang out with friends here, go outdoor, sing and whistle.

On the side, I study recent crazy events in the Middle East, and teach theory to college kids.

Movies:
Seventh seal, some like it hot, talk to her, Seventh Seal (again), Full Metal Jacket, Vertigo, Annie Hall, Rashamon, broken embraces, rear window, Shawshank redemption, Dead Poet's Society...

TV Shows: Daily Show, Seinfeld, New Girl, Boardwalk Empire, and Mad Men.

I love that Indian dish chicken saag and Chinese smoked duck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I have done amazing travelling activities, but I guess I've done exciting stuff in my personal life.
When I was a high school student in Iran, I remember once I skipped a class and went to protest meeting, which was held by the opposition in that time. In the middle of the meeting, the government militia attacked the gathering and we ran away, while they were throwing things at us. It was both exciting, scaring, and fun!! I have similar experiences to this.
