About Me
CURRENTLY TRAVELLING TIL OCTOBER 2022. IT WILL BE A PLEASURE TO HOST YOU THEN GUYS
Hey, I'm Loïc ! The 22nd october 2021, I started an Europe Tour of one year, to discover our continent, its different cultures and its history. I left from my town, Nice/Nizza, in France, and I'm only slow travelling, with train, bus or sometimes by foot, which explains why I'm only in Puglia after 3 months on the road haha. Taking time is a one of the main point of this trip, as I try to get out of the imposed speed of our society and to appreciate simple things daily. You can check the map of my journey in my pics :)
At this point, I only visited Italy, and honestly fell in love with the country and its diversity. Every new city, new region that I visit is a new puzzle piece of the very rich history of Italy and this is passionating. If you could teach me the history of you're lifeplace across time, I would be really happy!
This project has been motivated by a book I red during the lockdown: "Time of gifts", form Patrick Leigh Fermor. This is the autobiograhy of a young man traveling from Rotterdam to Istanbul by foot.
I'd like to write something about this journey as well, once I'll be back, and I got a photo project with my analogic camera :)
By the way, I'm 24 and I studied geography. I lived in France and had the opportunity to study abroad in Canada and Austria, but it will be more interesting to talk about that in real life :)
You can check my Instagram if you'd like to see my roadmap and the people I met on the road : heustle_season
