About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Sharing a love of language and culture with students; matando a saudade....
ABOUT ME
I'm very friendly, almost always smiling, and enjoy lots of activities. I'm very easy to be around - laid back and tend to go with the flow. I have lots of energy and love to be active, but equally enjoy relaxing and chatting with new and old friends over a coffee, beer, or the local drink!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to connect with the CS community wherever I'm living. In the past I've hosted and hung out with travelers passing through.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was introduced to couch surfing while living in Cusco, Peru from 2010 to 2011. Hosted some wonderful people over the year from Japan, Canada, and Argentina. It was a wonderful introduction to CS and when I moved to Brazil, I immediately sought out the community here in my city, knowing I would find friendly, active, interesting people!
Interests
I love to be outdoors, whether it is running, hiking, bike riding, sitting on a beach, or exploring new cities. I love history, art, and dancing salsa! I am very extroverted and love the energy of cities, but my heart is in the mountains. I'm happiest when hiking and camping, even though I have pretty bad luck and it usually rains and/or snows when I do these things...
