About Me

Hi there!

I’m Lola, 31 years old, based in Strasbourg, passionate about oceans, human rights, and meaningful connections.
I studied humanitarian law and spent several years working with refugees and marginalized communities around the world, believing deeply in the power of solidarity.

In 2019, I founded my own NGO, Octop’us, dedicated to protecting marine biodiversity, restoring coral reefs, and fighting against plastic and oil pollution.
Before that, I had the chance to travel to 44 countries — always guided by curiosity, a love for people, and a thirst for new perspectives.

A trip to Martinique was a real turning point: I fell in love with the ocean’s beauty and fragility. It led me to return home to Strasbourg to build strong roots for my project.

Today, my work life is intense, but I always make time for what matters most: real, heartfelt encounters.
That’s why I’m so happy to reconnect with Couchsurfing — to share simple moments, a conversation, a meal, a walk…
I’m respectful, independent, and I always bring positive energy, smiles, and deep gratitude wherever I go.

If you feel like opening your door, I’ll do my best to be the kind of guest you’d be happy to welcome again — and of course, if you ever come to Strasbourg, the door will be open for you too!

Looking forward to crossing paths with you!
