Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm brand new to the community. I'm in a bit of a tight space right now as I do not have a place to live and therefore no couch to provide for others, but I do plan on hosting people once I do get myself established. I'll do what ever I can until then to contribute to the general positive energy of CouchSurfing and share good vibes with people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing in San Fransisco (without the use of this website, which I think will be an amazing resource) for the past couple of months. I went through a scary experience involving domestic violence in my last official living situation and my mother was not sure of how to handle seeing me in that position. The way she has responded has been to not respond at all and has completely cut off all communication with me. Though it has been difficult, I have been assisted tremendously and treated with such care and kindness by many people. I'm so grateful to be alive.
