ABOUT ME

I'm a curious soul. A humble but proudly South African dude. I'm always open to new ideas and meeting new friends. I'm passionate about South African languages. I speak about 8 of our 11 beautiful languages. I absolutely love to braai (that's South African for barbeque!)

I'm a retired biker. I was a biker boy until I broke my left wrist in a motorcycle accident. Best 45 minutes of my life! I'm a petrol head. I love planes too. I read at least 2 books a month.
Yeah, I know, that's terrible, I should read more!

I'm married to the most beautiful girl in the world. Her name is Zaar. I am a father of 2 beautiful daughters, Swazi and Hannah.

I was born with an as yet incurable eye condition called retinitis pigmentosa. I have night blindness and tunnel vision. I'm slowly losing my sight. But I don't let that get me down.

I love, love, love travelling! Both within the borders of South Africa and internationally.
