ABOUT ME

I am originally from New Jersey, but moved to Chicago in 2012 and have a continually growing love and appreciation for the food offerings the city has to offer. Despite having covered a decent amount of ground in Chicago, I am still more than willing to explore the city with those visiting. I am the youngest of 3 siblings. I love to eat food, to travel, meet people, laugh, explore, and live life...because at the end of the day, we only have one to live, right? I love having interactions with people that make you simply forget the concept of time. These stolen moments in which time seems to stand still, are what I crave. I am more of a listener than a talker. I feel that too many people like the sound of their own voice. I try not to be like that, and if occasionally I do, PLEASE stop me.

PHILOSOPHY

Big believer in karma so my intentions are to do good on to others as I would like done for me. I also generally believe that everything happens for a reason. You don't necessarily understand why in the moment, but with time it will typically become clear.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While studying abroad in France, I was able to travel to a couple of nearby countries and meet other couch surfers and people native to where I was. Being that I have loved surfing, and meeting other members, I am now interested in hosting, when possible, to potentially impact other travelers the way that CS has impacted me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I would have to say that through meeting fellow couchsurfers while traveling, I have been able to make some of the fondest memories of my life. Ranging from an impromptu wine festival to relaxing in the desert, CS has given me priceless experiences.

These aren't that amazing, but I have been bridge jumping, and skydiving if that counts. Amazing thing seen, Presidential Inauguration in 2008. Historic.
