About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet interesting characters in interesting places throughout the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent college grad (San Francisco State University) looking to meet new and interesting people from all over the world. I'm currently living in Oakland, CA but will soon be moving to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in music & audio production. I enjoy good music, delicious food, laughing, and meaningful conversation. I'm an open-minded sober vegetarian (my best friends are mostly carnivorous pot heads) and enjoy talking with strangers about adventures they've had and life lessons they've learned.
PHILOSOPHY
Either you can laugh at everything or you can't laugh at anything. I prefer the former.
Everyone and everything is either a lesson of how to be better or how not to be. Learn something.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to the CS project, but I'd like to offer a place to stay for weary travelers when I can, and advice when I can't.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As a member of a touring band, I've been lucky enough to have complete strangers welcome me into their homes and give me a comfortable place to sleep, a hot shower, food, and stories. In the past I've likewise welcomed touring bands and friends-of-friends into my home to repay the divine Karmic forces of the CS deities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: There are great artists in every genre. From Hank Williams to Minor Threat, American Football to Miles Davis, Nas to Frank Sinatra, Ernest Ranglin to New Order.
Movies: Star Wars, Annie Hall, That Thing You Do!, Wet Hot American Summer, Brazil, the list goes on...
Books: Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski, and currently Violence by Slavoj Zizek.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I attended midnight mass at the oldest cathedral in Rome on Christmas Eve. I'm not Christian, let alone Catholic, but there was something transcendent about the experience.
