Morceaux de musique, films et livres

All kinds. I'll watch anything, I'll listen to anything and I'll read anything. I don't have to like it, but I'll take it all in anyway. My favourite authors are Kerouac, Steinbeck, Salinger, Fitzgerald, Hemmingway and Roald Dahl. I like retro, indie and jazz. And there are too many movies to fit into this space.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There have been many. The pyramids, the Van Gogh museum, Times Square, The sun melting into the Kanchanjanga, Moulin Rouge, a foggy drive on the Himalayas, river rafting on the Teesta, The Eiffel Tower, the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal, the Bridge on the River Kwai, The Statue of Liberty - a few things far and in between.

Travelling for me is a bit like trying on new clothes. Everytime I go to a new place, I try to fit in as much as I can, but I don't think I ever let go of the tourist tag. Like Shaw said, and I forget the exact words - something like - I hate feeling at home, when I'm abroad. Yeah. Me too. Travelling is undoubtedly about flexibility, learning to adapt to someone else's lifestyle or culture, but it isn't about giving up your own identity, not entirely anyway.
And curiosity. The more curious you are, the more you'll learn, even if initially you may appear a little philistine. It helps though, to read up a little about a place before going there.
Yeah - I don't know what else to say.
