I am an Australian on my Gap year living in the UK volunteering at a boarding school. During the school holidays I try to travel and see to learn and understand as much of the world around me as possible.

I am a active person and like going out. I’m always up for anything and trying new things. I’m a very outgoing, friendly person and am not afraid of challenges thrown my way. This year traveling alone as an 18 year old has been a major challenge so far in my life and has helped me discover who I am. I love meeting new people and seeing the world through others eyes and point of views.

If you are needing any help of any sorts I am happy help and am more interested in working along side you rather than using your house as a hotel. So just let me know if there is anything I can do to make my stay easier on you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although hostels are great for meeting new people, these people are often tourists like me and don’t know much about the place either. Ive seen many friends travel and have the best experience and times meeting new people through Couchsurfing.
I believe there is no better way to connect with a place and its people than learning from a local and living their routines and celebrating their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy a range of different music genres and some of my favourite artists include 5sos, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Hilltop Hoods, One Direction (even though they’re split) and Queen.
Movies: I absolutely love watching movies and TV shows. It is a great way to relax and escape the world for a moment. I like all genres of movies!

I love sharing my interests and experiences with people and hope I can provide an insight into the Australian culture. The locals I find are the best way to learn about a countries culture. Through working at an international boarding school I’ve learnt so much about other countries such as Spain, China and Italy which is very rewarding for me as my parents are both Italian so I get to learn a bit about where I’m from from others.
