About Me

I'm 23 and I come from Slovenia. I lived in Glasgow for 4 years while studying International Marketing at uni there, but I graduated last summer and am now taking a gap year to travel, de-stress and just live it up for a year. I really love travelling and everything that comes with it - meeting new people and experiencing different cultures, seeing the art, eating all the food and trying out different tastes from around the world, traditional dishes, drinks etc.

I'm a sociable and talkative person. I like to wander around places, discovering what they have to offer and finding the hidden gems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't have any experience with couchsurfing so far, but I think it's a great concept not only for budget travellers, but for everyone who likes meeting new people - and I am both :)

Interests

I have a wide range of interests, some of which are reading, watching TV shows, drinking coffee and tea, walking around the city center just because, the "high" you get from live music (concerts, festivals), food, art, current affairs... I'm really not too choosy - the world in general interests me and I believe that 'interesting' can be found whenever and wherever.

Music, Movies, and Books

Decisions, decisions... I must say that I enjoy a variety of different books, movies and music. I'm not really big on genres - I only have two categories which are stuff I like and stuff I dont, regardless of the genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Move to another country on my own at 18 - following through with something I really wanted for years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always happy to share and swap stories. I'm also always keen on learning/practising languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Umm.. stories? languages? I can also cook I guess :)
