ABOUT ME

Right so, I don't have it all figured out, but it goes like this: I'm Romanian, did my bachelor degree in Denmark, and I'm currently living in Copenhagen. It was love for traveling that has made me go abroad and study and I don't plan on stopping here!

The first thing that comes to mind in regards to myself is undoubtedly reading.
However, when I do get my nose out of my books, I find that traveling is the perfect replacement. I prefer the non-touristic way of traveling: getting lost on small, tangled streets, going for the underground bars and getting to know a place through a local's eyes.
I enjoy meeting people with different backgrounds and having smart conversations; I like people who challenge my beliefs, people who have something to teach me and hopefully learn something from me in return.
I allow myself to doubt everything and I believe not always knowing what you want is perfectly fine. As a random mix, I like Dali, Schiele, techno, tattoos, writing, skateboards, counterculture, the Beat Generation, homesteading, beer and countless other things.

books - Nietzsche, Terence McKenna, Aldous Huxley, Aristotle, Plato, Alan Watts, Sylvia Plath, Dostoyevsky, George Orwell, Emil Cioran, Albert Camus, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, William S. Burroughs, John Fowles & of course, Octavian Paler.
music - mainly electronic: techno/minimal/progressive house & rock - slightly addicted to The Doors lately.
movies - American History X is probably one of my favorites, as is Citizen Kane, Hitchcock & Tarantino's movies, but mostly documentaries.

I think the greatest thing so far has been living in Vienna for a couple of months. Not only the city is beautiful beyond description, but I also got the incredible chance of meeting the best people! I was lucky to have enjoyed amazing architecture, breath-taking art, crazy underground music culture and the company of open-minded, interesting people. I am so grateful to have experienced all that.
