ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old Uni Student who spent the past year living in Gold Coast, Australia.
I was there on a year-long study abroad program, I'm home in the U.S. but I had a wonderful experience showing couchsufers around my Aussie home town!

I'm now in Bowling Green, Ohio quite near Toledo and I hope I'll get the chance to share where I grew up with some more amazing people!

I'm a political science major but above that I love traveling and meeting new people. I am most interested in daily life around the world.

I adore new experiences and doing things that scare the ba-jeezus out of me. :P

I also have a passion for theatre and the creative arts.

I am open minded and always craving stimulating conversation. I value discussion with people who believe or feel differently than me, because I believe that is the only way to learn.

(I have definitely used the word "I" too many times in this description :P. My creative writing teachers would be ashamed. )

I love languages, although I'm only truly fluent in English I have some experience in a few others. More than anything I want to learn Russian.

Someday, I hope to join the Peace Corps and work in Ukraine.

In our house, life always stops for: So You Think You Can Dance- Australia, House and NCIS. (okay, not *always* but frequently :P)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few surfers as well as helped a few find their way around... It's been an unreal experience that I would love to continue!

If, for some unforeseen reason, my couch is unavailable I would ABSOLUTELY love to meet for some coffee, a night out, a day around town or to give suggestions or directions to anyone passing through! :D
