One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One was in Herradura, Costa Rica the second night I got to Costa Rica, my buddy and I had began conversing with this girl on the bus and we ended up getting off the bus early at her stop because she seemed really cool, and they had nice secluded beaches to camp on, we went to a restuarant right beside the beach, ordered a few beers and got some food, as we sat there the sun began to set it projected a deep red onto the face of my buddy that I was travelling with as well as the gorgeous girl we had met up with, at that moment she asked where we were going next, my friend replied that he couldn't wait to get to the Carribean, (at that time we were on the Pacific side), but for the first time in a very very long time I was completely content with where I was at, no longer was I looking onto my next move, how much better the next adventure or beautiful location was going to be, I just held onto that moment, and all I could think was PURA VIDA, a saying in Costa Rica that has come to mean many things, but mostly, this is living. Re-telling this story still rushes back those feelings into every part of my being. That was a powerful moment in my life. It asks for more then one, at the moment I dont really have another that I feel competes with this last one, the passion just wouldn't match that I would be doing both of us a disservice haha
