Hey guys, my name ist Lorena, I'm almost 20 years old, just finished school and went firstly to New Zealand to spend there at least half a year. NZ is great but really expensive and it also turned winter, so I decided to travel Thailand, Bali and Australia before returning and looking for a job. I'm a big fan of nature but also enjoy exploring other places and meeting new people.
I decided to travel on my own (and it's been the best decision so far) because I have the conviction that that's exactly what will help me to improve myself and let me grow. Also it's so easy to meet friendly people everywhere!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all I went to NZ to improve my English, and while staying in hostels that's quite impossible because almost everyone there is also German. My English is not bad but I still want to improve it because if conversations get deeper I struggle sometimes a little.
I'm really interested in finding out how local people spend their life, how living in a country apart from touristic areas looks like. I prefer the way of traveling that is about getting the country and it's citizens known!

Music, Movies, and Books

I almost listen to every single kind of music but I really like old school HipHop, Electro stuff, also techno from time to time, Reggae, and a few german bands. Huge fan of Eminem!
I don't watch so many films (yes I am strange) but I really like good documentaries about almost every single topic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm really into cocking (and even more into eating :D) so maybe I can share some of my favorite recipes or meals with you! Sometimes it's a little hard to get the same ingredients as in Germany but we can still try to prepare a great meal together!
