CURRENT MISSION

I am doing a PhD. In Physics. You know PhD commics? Yes - then you know my current mission. No - look it up --> then you know my current mission ;) Besides that, I want to have a good time with nice people.

ABOUT ME

I am fun to hang out with, frankly everything but boring. I did a lot of things in my life, from acting to singing, from science to going abroad. I am very trustworthy and you can rely on me. When I am having a good time, I am the happiest person alive and I like to pass that on if I can. In short, I am somebody you should definitely meet!

PHILOSOPHY

"If you wake up unhappy more than 3 days in a row, change something." (this is from an African American TV host who was one of the first black women on TV and a close friend to Matin Luther King. I was so lucky to meet her, and she is an incredibly inspiring and positive person. Unfortunatly, I can't remember her name...)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a few very nice people a few years back when travelling the US. It was and unforgettable experience, the most true way of learning about a country and its people. I am looking forward to more!

兴趣

There is very little I don't like. I am into traveling and meeting new people, who doesn't ^^ On a day to day basis, I get a lot of joy out of simple things in life like good food (food is art!) or having a great time with friends. I like to go to pubs and restaurants as well as spending a night at home with a good movie.
What really gets me every time is a good concert or show. I don't really mind if it is a Shakespeare play, a Cirque du Soleil show or a Metallica concert, just tell me about it, I am in :)

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Intouchables, High Fidelity, Marry&Max, Forrest Gump,... (Do I have to say that I love movies? ^^)

Books: I like Nick Hornby novels, so High Fidelity was a double pleasure. I could add a couple of German books like "Der Schwarm" but I guess most people wouldn't know them.

Music: currently: a lot of electronic music, like Paul and Fritz Kalkbrenner, Parov Stelar, but also Soundtracks, like Two Steps from Hell
more historic: Yann Tiersen, Linkin Park, Beethoven, Eminem, Hans Zimmer, David Gray, Herbert Grönemeyer, Toten Hosen, Ludovico Einodi, Tiesto... (I like mostly everything)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Right after I finished high school, I wrote a theater play together with a friend. We thought it would be a great idea to do everything by ourselves, so we were writers, directors, actors and musicians at the same time. It was an exciting project until the premiere came closer and closer - then we realized that this was no longer a fantasy in our head - it was real.
But all the tension, the excitement and the pressure that had built up to this day faded away as the final curtain fell. The applause and all those smiling happy faces are unforgettable. This was the perfect moment.
Another wonderful thing I experienced was the rainforest in Thailand. This was the most beautiful piece of nature I have seen so far. Jumping into a pond full of tropic fish, with huge trees all around you and monkeys over your head trying to steal everything that you didn't secure tightly was amazing :D
