ABOUT ME

Hi!
I am Lorenza Sganzetta and I was born in Novara, a city in the Piedmont, Italy. I have never enjoyed very much to live here because this city is lacking in vitality and openness.
At this point of my life I am in a kind of transitional state. I'd like to turn over a new leaf with an exciting and formative experience such as travelling, that can show to me a new style of life in order to help me in a future choice of being myself.
I am talkative and sociable. Every time I know new people I try to open myself and my thoughts to them in order to create immediately a relationship of familiarity and confidence.
I often take the initiative also with friends. My dream is to have the possibility of organize everybody's life that stay and live in contact with me.
I love dance and I think it is one of the best thing to savour life: it's funny but also liberating.
I studied in Milan and then I moved in Turin almost 4 years ago. Belive me, Turin is a wonderful city!
During my university course I went to Brazil for a voluntary service and the experience was so amazing that I came back another time for collecting data for my master thesis.
From work experiences I learned to deal with different people in many different contexts, to stay with people of different ages and talk about varied issues.
I become very reserved when I feel from the other side indifference and insincerity.

Now I am Phd student in Food planning at the university of Milano and working as geographer (spatial analyst) for Fao (Food and Agriculture Organization for the United Nations). For this reason for these few months I am not able to host people in Turin, but from September I will be available again
I don't know what the future is setting aside for me but I am sure that I would like to become an open-minded person with a lot of interests and I'd like to contribute in creating something new.

I discovered Couchsurfing two years ago when I was in Brazil.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am such new of couchsurfing and I had just few experiences: in Rio de Janeiro in 2011 with a friend of mine, in Chile in 2012 and in Birmingham in 2015... and was a wonderful time because I had the opportunity of know a very nice and interesting family

I am very interested in urban planning, food sustainability and international cooperation, ....And I love dance!

I adore south amercan literature, in particulary poetry, like Neruda and Garcia Marquez.
