Heey everyone!

My name is Lorenzo, I am a 26 years-old Swedish-Italian guy, just finished my studies and at the moment I am hitchhiking through Central America.
I grew up in a big bi-cultural family where the core values are characterized by generosity and empathy, and my goal is to really bring this with me throughout my life and wherever I go.

I am therefore often very keen to meet new people, immerse myself in the cultures that I visit, get to know the local community and bring positivity around.
As I have now finished my studies in Clinical Psychology/Neuroscience, I feel the need to pause, travel, and explore rather than commit to a work path right away.
Couchsurfing represents the best way to immerse myself into the communities that I visit. And I am very excited to get to know whoever wants to host me.

Some information about me: I love doing all kinds of sports, I have done several different ones throughout my life, I played for example for the past 14 years Ultimate Frisbee (a weird team sport with the frisbee, but fun!). I love reading/watching movies/playing board games, but especially, doing hikes in nature and camping.

Me llamo Lorenzo, tengo 26 años, soy sueco-italiano. Acabo de terminar mis estudios y actualmente estoy haciendo autostop/ride/jalón por Centroamérica.
Crecí en una gran familia bicultural donde los valores fundamentales son la generosidad y la empatía, y mi objetivo es llevar esto conmigo a lo largo de mi vida y dondequiera que vaya.

Por lo tanto, a menudo tengo muchas ganas de conocer gente nueva, sumergirme en las culturas que visito, conocer la comunidad local y transmitir positividad.
Como ya terminé mis estudios de Psicología Clínica/Neurociencia, siento la necesidad de hacer una pausa, viajar y explorar en lugar de comprometerme con un trabajo inmediato.
Couchsurfing es la mejor manera de sumergirme en las comunidades que visito. Y estoy muy emocionado de conocer a quien quiera alojarme.

Información sobre mí: Me encanta practicar todo tipo de deportes. He practicado varios a lo largo de mi vida. Por ejemplo, durante los últimos 14 años jugué al Ultimate Frisbee (un deporte de equipo peculiar con el frisbee, ¡pero divertido!). Me encanta leer, ver películas y jugar a juegos de mesa, pero sobre todo, hacer senderismo y acampar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of being hosted and host people from totally different backgrounds and upbringings than me, I believe I can learn a lot through these experiences. I think this is something almost only couchsurfing is able to do; which I find great. Also you get to meet people that is from the start very kind to you, since they have already accepted you in their house, I can bet they will be only nice experiences; so, looking forward for them!

Favourite movie at the moment: Joker, I loved it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a ultimate frisbee player (No, I don't throw the frisbee to my dog..), Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport, pretty fun. I play for the italian National Team and came third to the World's Championship for the Under 24 division!

I love to learn and share knowledge, of whatever kind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer all meals cooked by an Italian, I'm pretty good at making pasta so I'd be super glad to cook for you! And invite friends as well!!!

Apart from what I can offer I want to underline that I'll be super respectful of the house and the owner's personal spaces, I'll try to intrude the less possible :)
