About Me

Lover to music, reading but mostly writing. As a doctor I am trying to give some help to the people in need, as a man I am seeking for the beauty all around me. That is why I love travelling and the reason why I don't stagger back in front of any new experience. Not that brave, just curious about the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling but not just visiting a place. What I like the most is to get in touch with the people living in the places where I go. I think it is the best way the get the real feel of exploring the world.
A network of people sharing a place where to sleep and where to share their experiences it's revolutionary!

Music, Movies, and Books

Bruce Springsteen is the Boss, but I am really fond of anything coming from the rock & roll world, from Elvis, all the wonderful experiences of the '60 and the '70, coming to the Indie world. I like pretty much Mumford & Sons, Sigur Ros - just thinking about the music I'd like to bring with me on my travel.

Love any animation movie and all those stuff from the Eighties, "The Goonies", "Back to the future". Recently I watched for the umpteenth time Terry Gilliam's "The Fisher King" - wonderful. "In the name of the father" is one my favourites. Too many to recollect right now ... maybe we can talk about that!

Amongst literature, Hemingway is my favourite writer, "A moveable feast" is at the top. Liked also "Green tops of Africa", not so known, but intersting. Recently I read something by Murakami. But, as I am proceeding with my narrative writing course, I am extending my interests for less known writers, Graham Greene, and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played on piano my favourite tune, "Thunder Road", at Rue de Rivoli 59, The house of artists, in Paris. I'm not a musician ... and it was thrilling!

Teach, Learn, Share

I bring some of my culture for those who want to share. But I look forward people who want to share their with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really like cooking, if you are looking for a taste of Italian in your kitchen, I'll do my best. But I'd also be pleased to help you cooking your own recipes. It's all about getting a good mix!
I'll be pleased to be helpful as much as I can.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Northern Ireland, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Uganda
