CURRENT MISSION

1 year ago I did a 1 year long trip from Patagonia to Alaska. I definitely got to give thanks CS community and the fantastic people that join it. So now I would like to give back the courtesy and host nice people :)

ABOUT ME

My name is Lorenzo, I use to live in Milan where I work as Art Director, Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Furthermore I play drum in a reggae band and I produce indipendent music. I got dreadlocks since 14 years. I like the restaurants with big windows and the lights amongst the trees brushes. I don't like to flight and the clowns. I think I'm a pretty good chef.

Cause is the best way to have a local guide that show you the "un-tourisitc" side of the places and cause is the only place where you can meet a friend, more than a simple host.

兴趣

The main passion in my life is music. I couldn't stay without play and listen it everyday. My others passions are travelling and cinema. I also love drawing, painting and, lately, writing. I love to speak with people about everything.

In this moment I prefer indie music, stuff like EDWARD SHARPE & THE MAGNETIC ZEROES, NOAH AND THE WHALES, METRONOMY, BLACK KEYS, GRIZZLY BEARS, VAMPIRE WEEKEND, TAME IMPALA, ALT-J, XX, OF MONSTERS AND MEN, FOALS. But I love also black music (Reggae, Funky, Soul, RnB), folk and latin american sound (except reggaeton).

I definitely love cinema! Probably my favourite director is WES ANDERSON, but I appreciate also LEOS CARAX, JIM JARMUSCH, TERRY GILLIAM, SPIKE LEE, COEN BROHERS, FEDERICO FELLINI, MICHELANGELO ANTONIONI, ETTORE SCOLA. I could speak for hours about cinema!

My favourite writers are JOHN STEINBECK, PIERPAOLO PASOLINI, CHARLES BUKOWSKI, HERNEST HEMINGWAY, PEDRO JUAN GUTIERREZ, GABRIEL GARCIA MARQUEZ, IRVINE WELSH, WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE and OSCAR WILDE.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The people form my point of view on stage, behind the drum. It's incredible feeling their energy inspired by my energy, and my energy insipred by their energy. A little sealion borning. Two skies that touch each other and walking on one of them. A milion penguins colony. Huge blue ice walls falling down in the water from a glacier. The snow in the desert. The alligators eyes shining in the night. Pellicans sitting in the oceans like old gentlemen in a salon. One of the ends of the world.
