Hi there, I'd like to express my personality as happy, free-spirited, friendly gal with gypsy blood egging my spirit on..... to travel and learn more about the rest of the world. To bungy jump, explore different cultures .

I have raised two amazing boys to adulthood, they are successful men, and now I am a proud Grandmother :) it's shocking how much more love is bursting from my already overflowing heart .... yes really really :)

I strongly believe in the love factor ... that it conquers ... heals ... is absolute and necessary to show everyday in respectful way I should add , it ultimately has a snowball affect . A smile goes a long way :) Hugs are great too haha :). I help feed and clothe the homeless and less fortunate in our City on Sundays, with a great selfless group of people. This is for 4 months through our winter. I regular help other organizations throughout the year as well. It is fulfilling and warms other hearts and spirits. Gives hope.

My life has been fulfilling and fun, with my share of sad times, passing of loved ones but overall, I have been blessed. Now that my children are grown up and doing well, it is my time to fly the coop haha see the world. I have had some nice holidays to Mexico, Jamaica, Hawaii, New York City, my country provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan in Canada and Montana, in the US., and now have a heated desire to travel to the places that call me ..... Nepal is where my sponsor child lives and I wish is to meet her. Tour of Europe would be AMAZING ! I live with modest income; therefore, the couch surfing is very attractive to my travel planning. I love meeting new people and learning the other ways of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My reasons for Couchsurfing are : mainly travelling to more remote and non-over commercialized locations, the joy of being with the people from other cultures, and learning about different culture and history. The budget for long period of travelling is a big attraction as my income is lean.

This looks to be the latest greatest way to meet those that have been there, done that, and can be very helpful in getting me started in the right direction, as well as show me the cultures and sites of different countries that I should check out. Helping others, fund raising for Kids with cancer and incurable diseases, dancing, riding my motorcycle in the countryside, being with family and friends. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shaving my head 2 years in a row and raising a ton of money for the Hair Massacure Foundation - for The Children's Stollery Foundation in Edmonton. I now take photos for my friend's Hair Massacure Motorcycle Rides for Kids, since 2011. My heart is full of love and passion for helping kids and others. Giving back to the community where I live is important.
