Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two of my siblings have enjoyed the CS experience & met some very interesting & outgoing people.
I'm no stranger to hosting guests, my military sons brought friends when visiting on leave, my parents actually hosted foreign exchange students & fostered children during my high school years so it seems 2nd nature to me to open my home to others.

Interests

Kayaking, music, dining & dancing, cycling, I play piano, learning cello, photography, hiking, I'll try almost anything once. Twice if I liked it the 1st time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had 5 children and not gone completely bonkers?!
I've done many interesting things - but I'm not sure others would think they're amazing things!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am adventurous & enjoy kayaking & hiking, but bc I am still somewhat new to Richmond area, googling for things to do is still your best option!
Because my daughter is disabled & I rely on having a sitter before I make plans, I can not provide reliable transportation. I suggest CS's visiting plan on using Uber or have their own vehicle.
However, if it works out that I am available I may be able to show you a few of my favorite places in RVA or help you map out a visitors tour of things to do & places to see with or without me.
