I'm Canadian but I work for a Finnish startup called GoSol (see www.gosol.org ) and am passionate about sustainability, renewable energy and ending poverty.

I love to travel, have been to Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, USA, Haiti, Finland, France, Morocco and Mali, often spending up 6 months at a time.

I'm a vegetarian and a bit of a health nut, I love to cook! I'll cook for you!

Because I'm in a bit of a bind. I can't go back to Finland because I overstayed my visa last time, and have to sort out project details before I go to South Africa. I am in NYC trying to promote GoSol's solar technology but have to do it on a shoestring because my startup doesn't have the coin to pay for hotels and such.

I'm working with a makerspace on Staten Island and want to spend another couple of weeks (at least!) in NYC because this is a great city where anything can happen!

I'm respectful and pull my weight around the house! We'll have a great time!

I like goofy comedies, hollywood action movies, thought provoking documentaries, am super interested in the internet and what the future is going to bring!

Love the outdoors, rock climbing, hiking, urban adventuring, slack lining, people watching and wandering.

I built an off-grid house out of two big old shipping containers. It's solar powered, rainwater harvesting, woodstove heated, compost toilet-ed and portable! If you let me stay at your place, you'll always be welcome at mine!
