Daughter about to fly the nest which has given me the opportunity to do some travelling and volunteer work. I spent a lot of the 80’s in Tunisia in Hammamet, and going back in August to spend 6 months doing volunteer work in an animal shelter in Nabeul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Will be spending approximately 6 months in Nabeul Tunisia to do volunteer work. Would like to start making new friends in or near Nabeul. So even if we are not arranging coach surfing, feel free to connect for friendship.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love pretty much all music including world music. I play the drums and ukulele and love going to music festivals. I love any live music including traditional cultural music. I love learning about other people’s taste in music. I love writing, I’m mostly writing poems about animals. Love comedy movies and enjoy watching foreign films with subtitles, especially Bollywood and french films.
