I'm born and raised on the beautiful California Central Coast. I have a bachelor's degree in architecture which I'm currently not using, but I've always maintained a very strong interest in urbanism and design. I'm working in the family business as a third-generation commercial fisherman here in Morro Bay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the concept of Couchsurfing is an insanely cool idea! I love showing off where I'm from and I think Couchsurfing provides a great way to travel and experience new places from a perspective you typically can't get as a tourist. I've hosted several people in addition to doing some surfing myself, some of the coolest experiences in my life I can attribute to Couchsurfing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides a roof over your head, we live on a beautiful 40-acre avocado farm. We've also got lots of chickens, so if you like fresh eggs this is the place to be! I have a pretty intimate knowledge of the area and I'm always happy to help fellow travelers with suggestions. I know all the best Mexican food spots, which is obligatory if you're coming to California!
