ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a dreamer who loves to learn new things and meet new people. I'm at my happiest when I'm outside and/or exploring. Whether its some remote secret beach, or just the creek behind my apartment,I will be content. I'm easily amused, which makes life pretty fun and interesting, and I'm willing to try anything at least once. I've got a never ending curiosity about the people and the world around me which may never be filled, and I'm ok with that.

PHILOSOPHY

I have no set philosophy other than to learn through experience. Don't just watch things on tv, go do them yourself.

I have surfed my self, and now that I have my own place open to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed, hung out with surfers, and used couchsurfing for endless amounts of info. Everyone I've met has been a blast in their own way.
Whether they are amazing cooks, great tour guides, or just tons of fun I've never had a bad experience.

Intereses

Mostly out door stuff like Rock climbing, hiking, slacklining, caving, sea kayaking, whitewater kayaking, Biking,canoing, star gazing, tree climbing :-), urban exploring,swimming,scuba diving, sailing, wood working, reading, and of course travel and experiencing other cultures and ways of living.

Música, películas y libros

I'll watch almost any movie, and listen to a little of everything, from reggae to hip hop and am open to anything from anywhere. One of my favorite albums is The John Butler Trio's Grand National, and my most recent favorite books are David Gemmel's Troy series.

Every time a person has extended a kindness they didn't have to.

One of the only nights a year lightning bugs mate in Wisconsin, its like watching thousands upon thousands of stars dance in open fields.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am always up for sharing any of my knowledge with anyone who cares to listen and do. I have taught rock climbing and slacklining clinics in the past, but I'm open for anyone who would want to pick my brain over any of my interests. I would also love to learn more about sailing and scuba diving, neither of which I know much about yet. I'm getting ready to take up scuba, but one of my ultimate life goals is to learn how to sail and build my own boat.
