Hey! I have had this profile for ages unused but a friend said I should activate it, so here we are. (Still is progress)

I am a Finn living in Lebanon. I have lived and worked most of my adult life outside my native Finland but I haven't lost my dry sense of humour and I am quite stubborn at times.

I often travel solo but finding like-minded people is always a win!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me I should and that is how I am here after long years of inactivity. I figure she was right and this is a great way to meet great people and make my travel plans that much more exciting again. I often travel solo and like it but it is always nice to meet like-minded people.

I haven't yet hosted but I am in a lucky position to do so eventually as I have the space. But I am always happy to show fellow travellers around Beirut and share my experience of it. It is a unique city!

Interests

I like stories, fictional and otherwise. That is how we learn.

I try to not buy books. And then I buy books. My music taste is very diverse but I am also comfortable with silence. I mostly watch movies on planes.

We learn by sharing, whether it is stories, experiences, or a good meal with or without a cocktail.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am handy to have around the house and happy to help with anything. I like to chat, share stories and experiences, and gladly tag along on walks and things like that. I can cook too and would gladly make some Finnish food.

But I am also happy to just chill in silence and do things on my own 😆

My friends have rated me as the easiest house guest ever. This is no exaggeration.
