About Me

ABOUT ME

Well... After finishing uni and a 6 month trip to Bolivia (working as a volunteer with the cutest kids in the world) in 2009 I came back to Belgium and started working as a Dutch teacher. Lovely thing to do because I get to work with people with different nationalities.
I am interested in almost everything. People, other cultures, music (but don't ask me to sing, you ll regret it), art, nature etc etc. That's why I am a social worker and teaching in Brussels now. It's great to work with people from different countries and hear there stories and share experiences.
Hoping to see much more places and do lots I worked to save up and last September I started another master in urban studies. It is so incredibly interesting and great!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So sorry I am not able to host people for awhile! I always had great fun when couchsurfers came over. I moved out of Ghent and lived in Brussels for 2 months, in Tilburg, the Netherlands now. Manchester and Talinn will be next! I can let you know whether you are welcome to stay or to hang out if possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some great people over when living in Ghent the last year - lovely to have met them. Curious to couchsurf myself once in awhile now :)

status anxiety and other alain de botton
and of course jean pierre jeunet, the arcade fire and sigur ros!

bonnie prince billie is added on my list recently, as well as the great tales of the even more great roald dahl i started reading again

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bolivia of course! Had the best time over there, staying at a hostfamily and working with little deprived kids and youngsters with learning difficulties. Beautiful country and people, even if so poor. Hopefully Evo Morales can be the new Mandela? http://l.php?u=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.guardian.co.uk%252Fcommentisfree%252F2010%252Fmar%252F08%252Fbolivia-evo-morales-election&h=e03f3a631c5e668722e438e926bb1ec9&ref=mf

This masterprogramme I got onto can be added as well - I haven't even gotten halfway, but it's amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share
