I am an open-hearted person who loves moving around places and getting to know different cultures and ways if living. I am passionate about learning new languages in order to communicate with people from other countries. That's why I study English and Roman languages in University. I would describe myself as a day-person who likes to live my days to the fullest.

Unfortunately I cannot host people where I live at the moment because I host a room from an existing tenant that wouldn't approve of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I think it is a great way to getting to know people from all over the world, to experience different cultures and furthermore getting to know the various styles of life from people around the planet.

Interests

I like learning and speaking different languages.
I also love cooking (because I love to eat good food!) and I am always happy to discover new recipes.
I like music and I am singing in a Gospel Choir. Furthermore, I like going to the cinema and reading good books. I also enjoy doing different sorts of sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of The Beatles and Queen. I also like Milky Chance, Oasis, Ed Sheeran, George Ezra, Nerina Pallot, Shakira, Jack Johnson, Christophe Maé, K'naan, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams etc.

There are countless movies I like. Here's a random selection:
- Forrest Gump, Little Miss Sunshine, La Vita è Bella, Les Choristes, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Pride and Prejudice, Bridesmaids, Juno etc.

My favorite books are My Sister's Keeper, One Day and Pride and Prejudice. I also enjoy reading children's books like Harry Potter and stories by my favorite author Erich Kästner a well as by Astrid Lindgren.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an exchange student at an American High School. I met some of my best friends there and Wisconsin stays my second home. By this experience I didn't only learn about the American way of life, I also got to know my own german culture better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic German as well as English and French. I would also love to cook and share some delicious German recipes. As a former gymnast and gymnastics teacher I can teach some gymnastics as well :)
