ABOUT ME

I'm a beginner when it comes to travelling and couchsurfing. I'm actually a beginner with a lot of things. Living on my own, studying on the university, and you can imagine which new things come with these new changes.
I love singing, now I go to the Conservatory and I'd love to become a singer and also to teach other people sing.
I study Classical music, and when I'm gratuated I'd love to become an expert in the Traditional/Folk music part of the Classical repertoire. Hungarian, Czech, Russian, Bulgarian, Spanish, Hebrew, Indian music etc.
Music can really touch me to the core.
Next to this I study to become a philosopher, so I'm curious what the future will actually bring me.

Expression is a big part of my life. Expression in words, music, dance, art, in stories, in design.. It colours the world and I think it gives us inspiration for the daily life and it gives inspiration to our daily, random thoughts and conversations. Friendship is the other big part of my life. Deeper, long-lasting, trustful friendships, or a friendly conversation with someone I've just met.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to learn in live. To learn, and to enjoy as much as possible while learning and while walking on the path I've chosen and to choose a new sidewalk now and then. I think it's important to laugh and love with the people who surround me and to find peace and harmony in what I think, do and feel. A goal for me is to let life more 'just happen' and to worry less about the future or about everything that's surrounding me.

Interests

I'm interested in different genres of music but classical music in particular, and in making music. I'm also interested in Philosophy. Indian and Western philosophies. Buddhism, Taoïsm, Kant, Plato.. It can all fascinate me!
I like art, books, poetry, nature, dance, movies, travelling and people in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I've done 'the' most amazing thing I can mention here. One of the most inspirational experiences with travelling was working on a farm far hidden in the countryside of Rumania. I always like to get to know the inside from a country, and the inside of the culture.
My next travelling destinations aren't planned yet, but Scandinavia, Czech-Republic, India and Bulgaria are high on the list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think a meeting with someone is always a big learning school. You should just observe for one time which thoughts come up when you meet someone new. Judgements, loving thoughts, aversion, recognition..? It gives you a lot to think about.

For what I have to offer myself is singing skills, knowledge about music, some knowledge about different philosophies and ofcourse my own experiences who I'd be glad to share with you. I'm an open book if it comes to telling about how I feel, what my insecurities are and what I experience everyday. So be free to ask, and to share yourself.
