About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Visit every continent, embrace each culture and make new friends, and make it back to England without dying.
ABOUT ME
Hi, we are two friends from the UK, Lisa and Lottie. We met at university and have been travelling together ever since graduation. First, we taught in South Korea for a year, which was a fantastic experience. Then we travelled and worked around Australia, which was incredible. We are now travelling around Asia, and can't wait to meet loads of new people!
PHILOSOPHY
Try everything, even if you’re scared of it and have a good time in the process.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far we are surfing, and have stayed with a few different people in Australia. We are planning to host when we get home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Australia was our first couchsurfing experience, where we stayed with many people up the East Coast. We have loved it, met loads of amazing people, and done so many things we would have never thought of without it. We can't believe how much it inhanced our travelling experience, and staying with so many lovely and genourous people has confirmed our decsision to host back in England, and you are all welcome when we do! ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- alterative and indie, eg, Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park, Muse (although if we’re drunk we’ll listen to anything). Movies- everything from Disney to Schlinder’s List- depends on what we’re feeling at the time. Books- I studied English Literature and will read anything, although Lisa pretty much only reads fantasy and psychology. And Harry Potter’s always a winner for both of us!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to the Mud Festival in South Korea which was an amazing experience, where we mud wrestled with soldiers, raced through obstacle courses, wrestled in the sea and did a tug of war. We will never forget it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you’re not a native English speaker we can help with your English. We can teach you about the UK. Our degrees are in English and Psychology and we are very interested in both subjects so if you want to know more about these areas. We would like to learn more about different countries and cultures and anyone with sporty or music skills would be cool.
