My name is Lou and I’m non-binary 🌈

I'm an enthusiast and curious person, and I would like to discover a lot of places.
I always enjoy learning, and I think that transmitting and sharing knowledge is one of the most important things.

I did a License in Printmaking, and a Specialized Master in Etching (and my thesis was about female body, and feminist art). I'm also a manipulator in a puppet theater in Brussels, and a huge fan of arts in general.

I'd like to be a teacher, but I want to have a rich experience to share with my student first. That's one of the reason I'm in CS.

Some friends told me to try Couchsurfing, and since I tried it I adopted it.
Most of the people I met by this plateforme are super nice, I made some great friends and discovered underground places I never suspected about.

I would like to travel more, but it's complicated so I host travellers and their stories make me travel ;)
I'm always curious of new things to experience.
Learn and practice English would be great.

Música, películas y libros

Music : Hum... Hard to choose! I'm rather eclectic. But those are my favourites : Radiohead, Joy Division, The Cure, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder,...

Movies : I'm not a huge cinema lover, I enjoy to watch movies but I'm not attached to this medium. I'm in love with Wes Anderson's filmography, I'm fan of Star Wars and I like superheroes movies.

Books : Philip K Dick, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradburry, Margaret Atwood, Sergio Toppi, etc.

Well, I also love reading bad and old sci-fi books I find in thrift shops. And books/essays/theories about the society (currently into how street architecture is made to prevent homeless people to have places to rest).

I am pretty good at cooking, and I can also make vegan meals.
I can share my love and enthusiasm for cultural stuff, especially visual art.

I can show you some printmaking techniques, teach you to sew or even simple bookbinding.
