About Me

I've always loved travelling. Every year when I was a child, I was asking my parents to go in a summer camp abroad : that's how I discovered this passion.

Then, I had to carry out my studies (in food technology) but last year I had the opportunity to do a gap year. I decided to go to Sydney in order to improve my English and because Australia is well-known as a wonderful country. There, I shared my time between my internships (one as a volunteer in a comunity kitchen and the other in an ice cream factory) and travelling. This experiment made me discover the real world of travelling : its backpackers, its adventures and its unforseen events. And if I'm sure about one thing... I just wanna discover it more and more !

CURRENT MISSION :

Travel all around australia as long as my visa is valid.
Then go back home, finish my last year of studies... And leave again for a lot of new adventures !

PHYLOSOPHY:

Don't take life too seriously, anyway you're not gonna make it out alive !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is one of the best way to travel : you meet new people, you make friends, you share your experiences, you learn the way of life of the country you are in... I see advantages only, and your wallet is happier than never !

However I don't have a lot of experience in this way of travelling. I hope you'll prove me right !

Interests

I love life and I do every thing to enjoy it as much as I can ! For me, it first means doing all kind of sports, especially unexpected ones. I love nature so I love running and walking everywhere, but I also love swimming, rock climbing and... skydiving ! I like to do everything to discorver my limits.

As a great food scientist, I love food even if I don't cook a lot. Discorvering the culinary habits of a country is one of my hilights while I'm travelling. Ice creams are my guilty pleasure...

I also like partiing and dancing but I'm not a night animal. If you ask me what I prefer between a great party and waking up at 5am to see a beautiful sunrise, I'd probably pick up the sunrise... Unless I can do them both ! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kind of music, especially reggae music.
Favorite song : La lune (Zaz)

My favorites movies are most of the time fantastics, comics and/or adventurous ones. I love Hunger Games and Pirates of the Carabeans for the most well-knowns. I think my most favorite one is "Sweet november", if you've heard about it...

Favorite book : The life list (Demain est un autre jour) from Lori Nelson Spielman.
I also love "The bridge across forever" (Un pont sur l'infini) from Richard Bach, the Hunger Games trilogy...
There are too many !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked 6 months in a jewish community kitchen in Sydney, cooking every day for people in need. That was really amazing...

I learned how to skydive solo in Australia. I'm able to jump from a plane everywhere in the world!

My next amazing thing to do (I've got a great list) is climbing the "Mont Blanc", in the french Alpes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All my wonderful experiments in Australia and New-zealand, a beer or a glass of wine, lots of smiles... And all the energy I have to live !
