ABOUT ME

I really want to learn everything in this beautiful world that is worth to know, to see or to believe in and I do my best to find a way to make myself and other people happy. I'm thinking a lot about the world, the future,the past and the present. Economics is also a constant companion if it comes to thinking about what's good and what's bad in this world and what one can do to improve our surrounding.

I'm no too sure what I can say more, you'll find out the rest when we meet!

Well, I think politics are important and that's why we should talk about it ;) That's not really a philosophy, but I don't know what else to write...

I only had amazing experiences with hosting and surfing. Not too many, but I'll change that soon :)

Interests

I'm a really enthusiastic economist, so I read a lot and participate at conferences and summer schools and whatsoever. I also love music.actually, I can never get enough from it. I'm still fascinated how mighty music can be and how easy it can bring people together.But also every other kind of art seems intersting to me, even though I don't understand everything. And, surprise, I love travelling, seeing other countries, landscapes, people, cultures, beliefs, political systems etc... I always enjoy the great taste of beer, wine and cigarettes in the company of friends, family or just nice peolpe.

Music, Movies, and Books

All of Tom Waits' stuff , Russian Circles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Black Keys, Patti Smith, Tool, Coldplay,Mumford&Sons, Käptn Peng, classical music, Calexico, White Lies, Edward Sharpe &the Magnetic Zeros, Foo Fighters...hmm let me think - EVERYTHING that's made with passion :) Lord of the Rings, Tim Burton, Jim Jarmusch... And I really like Kafka and Schnitzler, two austrian writers with a great sense of language. Oh and not to forget: Calvin&Hobbes- Comics!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked with a friend and we got a lift from two guys who didn't speak a word english or german, so we couldn't communicate at all but still spent the whole day and evening together with eating and drinking and playing guitar - amazing memory :)
