Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experience was in Zurich 2015 with my friends. After that, I just love the idea of couchsurfing. Not about free of accommodation. Experiencing the daily life with local people, I can understand deeper with different thoughts, living style and culture in different countries.

I hosted some couchsurfers when I was in Hong Kong (even with sososososo small house). We discovered the city together. Since I am not living on my own in Singapore, I cannot host couchsurfers right now. We can still meet up and explore the city/places together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017, my mum and I did couchsurfing in Scandinavia for a month. We met a lot of amazing people and couchsurfers during the trip. After the wonderful trip, my mum finally agreed that we could host guests in our home (4-5 people living in 400 sqft, including guest).

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can have dinner together and I'll cook some Hong Kong dishes. The meal time with host is the best time for me. We can share what we have and chat for the whole night^^.
