ABOUT US
We are a married couple who have been together since--to our amazement!--1978 and still love each other and celebrating the adventures of life. We are consultants, writers, hikers, backpackers, bicyclists, meditators, cross-cultural enthusiasts (between us, we have lived in 9 countries).

PHILOSOPHY
Very open-minded. We believe that personal communication between people can overcome any cultural or political differences.

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have very much enjoyed both hosting (in California and Mexico) and staying with fellow CSers (in France and Italy). We have also had some delightful interactions without staying--meeting CSers over coffee or a meal--in Turkey, France and Mexico, without actually staying with people.

兴趣

Hiking, backpacking, bicycling, fitness, cooking, writing, meditation, reading memoirs, languages, Spanish, geopolitics, writing, business consulting, facilitation, leadership, international travel. Barry kayaks, Louisa is a stand-up paddler.
