Hi! My name is Louisa Williams and I'm currently in college in Illinois, but it's really close to St. Louis, Missouri in a town called Edwardsville. I'm studying Speech Pathology and Spanish. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, but my flame was really ignited when I graduated from high school. Since then, I've been doing a lot of traveling and have met many people who have positively changed my life. I come from a very small town (only about 700 people) so growing up there wasn't a lot of diversity in my life. I love meeting new people, and I think traveling is absolutely the best way to go about that! Not only can I completely immerse myself in a new culture, but I can experience it alongside amazing people!

I heard about this from a friend, and I didn't really know what it entailed. However, she's raved about her experiences, so I thought I would give it a shot. I hope to make life long friends just like she has!

I love to read so I can't really say that I have a favorite book. Any genre, any place, you name it, and I probably like it. Same goes for music! I grew up playing the piano so music has been instilled in me from a young age. I appreciate any and every kind of music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed in the Dominican Republic after my first year of college with a wonderful family. They really introduced me to how great other cultures are. The woman and I became very close and she recently asked me to be the godmother when she found out she was pregnant again!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Soon to be twenty, I think I have a very positive outlook on things in life. I'm young without too many worries, yet I've always felt that I am an "old soul." I appreciate the little things in life. I love doing things how they were done in the old days. I'm a friendly and outgoing person, but really enjoy quiet time with others. I'm an only child so I valuable personal time, but meeting new people is one of my favorite things to do!
