Hey I'm Louise! I'm currently a couple of months into a gap year - I've been in Germany for a few weeks and loving it, and South Africa for a month before that (also incredible!).

My plan so far has been not to plan anything too far in advance. I like having no expectations, and being blown away by all the beauty and diversity around the world. Appreciating the impermanence is hard lesson I'm trying to learn; the great part is meeting so many amazing people but the crushing part is always having to say goodbye!

I'm from Melbourne (Australia) and have just finished one year of my Bachelor's on exchange in Sweden. My mum's side is Swedish so I was also lucky to spend some time with my relatives in the beautiful countryside in summer this year. In midsummer the sun doesn't go down, it's pretty disorientating waking up at 2am to a bright sky!
