ABOUT ME

I am based in Edinburgh in Scotland at the moment just after living in Vigo, Spain. Ilike to take as many city breaks as possible that my job will allow as I am a primary teacher in Scotland :)

I want to visit as many places as I can over the world and meet new and interesting people - on a budget of course! I've previously done loads of travelling in Australia mainly and other parts of Europe but would love to do more. I just love a nice meal and drinks with good people, having a laugh and spending time outdoors when the weather allows (rainiest country?). I am passionate about looking after the environment, equality and more and love to speak to likeminded people.

P.s. I am also vegan..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just got couchsurfing and not used it much, but I am hoping to use it for the events, to meet other travelers and for somewhere to stay when travelling. I've spent most of my time in hostels but this would be a cool new experience to meet likeminded travellers and get a more local view of a new place!

Interests

I love to spend my time reading or having drinks with friends and have recently started developing my cooking skills as they desperately needed some work. Travelling is a passion of mine but I haven't had much opportunity for it until now!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty easy and can listen to music from all sorts of genres. I'm pretty big into my movies when I get a chance to watch them, definitely a fan of Harry Potter and the Game of Thrones. I've also read the books for these, as I read all the time, or for as long as I can stay awake :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went solo travelling in Australia a while back! It was such an amazing experience I'd love to do something like that again
