About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Never stop traveling!
ABOUT ME
I'm a mellow soul that enjoys life in the present and am grateful for all the experiences I have enjoyed. I am calm and easy going and can go with the flow. I love to spend time with my friends, family and my dog. Also, my interests define who I am--a traveler that loves to eat and be in the water...if only you could do both together!
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem of course...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met some girls from Holland on a surf trip in Costa Rica and wanted to visit Holland, and their generosity allowed me to stay with them and be able to experience their country from a local perspective which is always better than just being a tourist on your own figuring things out. I think I saw more of Holland in one week thanks to them than some Dutch people have seen in their lifetime! In exchange, they came to visit me as well and I returned the favor. In fact, one stayed with me for over 2 months, which brought us a strong connection and friendship that will last a lifetime. These recent experiences have brought me here to couchsurfing!
Interests
I love the outdoors--surfing, snowboarding, hiking, etc. I am lucky that my work supports this, as I work for action sport magazines/websites (Surfer, Surfing, Snowboarder, Canoe&Kayak, SUP, Powder, Skateboarder, etc.). When I'm traveling, I love being lost in places I've never been--seeing new things, meeting locals and eating all the amazing food of that city/country I'm able to, it's great enjoying the culture. Also, I love yoga--for exercise, to stay grounded, and to help other aspects of my life as well. When I have free time, I love to cook. It is calming and fun, and cooking is a way to share my experiences and also bond and connect with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking the Inca Trail for four days to arrive at Machu Picchu. It was one of the best travel experiences in so many ways. Another amazing moment is probably the first time I stood up on my surf board to ride a wave and the first time I rode down the line...it's an incredible feeling only other surfers can relate to.
