About Me

Hey, I'm Louis, an avid traveller living in Melbourne! I aim to live the local way of life and discover hidden gems that are otherwise left untouched.
I love being part of the couch surfing community as we can exchange our cultures, love for travel and share our cities hidden secrets. However I'm also respectful if people aren't able to hang out that much.
When I'm home I am passionate to host people and show Melbourne's hidden secrets, great food & coffee spots as well as sharing tips and useful information that will help you have an amazing time in Australia!

When Im travelling, I am respectful of others and love to help out where I can and meet people from around the world.

I do shift work (as a train driver) so sometimes I will go to bed early or or come home late but that also creates flexibility to do stuff during the day!

Music, Movies, and Books

Bit of non fiction, and Devo can never go astray

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Why just one? My top 3 have been:
- Volunteering at a rural hospital in East Timor.
- Hitchiking through the Pakistani mountains
- Getting stranded on a little atoll and staying with a local family in Kiribati.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a chef, so can teach how to cook.

Whilst I'm not a charity on couchsurfing, I understand travelling Australia can be quite expensive so I can share cheaper ways to explore my great country!

I have traveled a lot and love to listen to other travellers travel stories too. I believe traveling is the best form of education!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My beautiful city, an open mindset, good quality banter.

I love learning and sharing cooking from different cultures and am happy to help out with the likes and other house duties.
