Hi! My name is Louise, a 22-year old traveler from the Philippines. Growing up with conservative parents, I didn't get the chance to explore my own country when I was younger. I usually just stayed at home on weekends and during my freetime. It was just school-home-school-home. Right after finishing my bachelor's degree, when I started earning my own money, I knew I have to see the world through a different perspective. I'm not the adventurous, risk-taker, go-with-the-flow type, but I like challenges. And I'm very outgoing and easy to be with.

P.S. I have never tried going out of the country. I would love it if I could meet with new people from a foreign town/country and just share stories. (Shoestring travel all the way!)

Couchsurfing, for me, is making friends on a deeper, more intimate level. It's not just about introducing yourself to a host, but it's all about knowing your host's family, culture and a piece of their lives. In this age where everybody is on social media, I think it's perfect to just talk to someone who will take their time to tour you around town and talk. :-)

I'm the type of person to take photographs of everything I find beautiful, write my thoughts and random babbles in my blog (http://sheslouisse.com), eat a gallon of ice cream when things are getting too sad or too happy, dress up when meeting new people to make good impression then dress down when I'm already friends with them, shoot videos when I travel, talk with cats when I'm back home from work and scream (or speak in a high pitch) when I get too excited.

I can listen to any type of music, just not the metal rock, screaming type of sounds. I can watch any type of movie, just not the 6-hour long ones. I an read all genre of books, but let's stick with the romcoms. My all time favorite song though is You're Beautiful by James Blunt. Favorite book? Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. Favorite movie? Probably Life of Pi, the first thing that comes to mind.
