I was born in NYC but moved around a lot growing up. I lived in Colorado for about 25 years after college (northern Colorado, Boulder and Denver) and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in the spring of 2014, and then Gulfport, FL in the spring of 2017. I really enjoy the mountains, sunshine and cool dry air, but for now, I'm "content" living in FL.

I'm gay and I started coming out in college around 1990. I've mostly been a relationship-oriented person. I'm currently not in a relationship, though, and I'm not searching out a romantic relationship. What brings me some of the greatest joy in my life now is finding genuine connection with others built upon greater connection with myself. I don't use strong chemical substances anymore (including nicotine and caffeine) and that's opened me in new ways to exploring more awakened ways to live. It's been powerful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to travel a lot and really enjoyed it. I will travel again more in the future .

Interests

Genuine connection with nature, animals and with other people. Learning to transcend fear and anxiety, and approach life with a willingness to both open and protect my heart. Learning new ways to have fun :)
