I am a historian specializing in food history and cultural diplomacy. I am currently preparing for an exam in France to become a teacher and enjoy travelling to add to my knowledge. Trekking is one of my key passions, as I go every summer to the wild for a few weeks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I was very moved by the French movie Muganga , about the story of Dr. Denis Mukwege, who treats women in Congo that have been assaulted by armed rebels. In terms of books, I really enjoy history literrature and I found "upheaval how nations cope with crisis and change" very insightful ! I don't usualy listen to music but I like reagaton vibe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 2-weeks trek in the Alps, from Italy to Switzerland, with my girlfriend and I encounter a wolf ! It was one of the most difficult hike I did with a lot of snow, I would definetly do it again :)

I taught French in the U.S, I look forward to meeting people interesting in French culture and language and willing to exchange about dividing issues.
