ABOUT ME

I'm 47, young at heart and after a couple of years abroad I'm back in England and working again with children. I have 2 very lovely grown up kids who are a big part of my life. I enjoy the culture of cities sometimes but probably most at home in nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing when I was travelling in America, it was a great way to really make connection with people as well as getting a taste of local life. I found out about it from some American girls I met in India. I house share with 2 lovely people, Sarah and Jamie and we have a small, rather cluttered spare bedroom with a single bed. We're all pretty busy but happy to host when it fits in with our plans or to have you drop by for a cup of tea and a chat.

I'm interested in sustainable living, nature, good food, equality, human rights, co-operation above competition. I enjoy walking and camping and swimming, music and films. I like working with my hands, cooking, making fires, playing with clay.

I'm vegetarian and I love cooking tasty healthy colorful meals. I enjoy engaging with children and love to read bedtime stories, happy to help out in the garden too :o)
